Venue 1:Olten, Switzerland (December 11)
Olten is one of the five main locations of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Nortwestern Switzerland also denoted by the acronym FHNW. Zurich Airport is the closest international airport to Olten with about 45-50 minutes travel time by train. Some trains are direct trains to Olten (mostly one per hour) while others require a change of trains at Zurich main station (Zürich HB). From Geneva Airport trains require around 2:15h travel time to Olten (some train connections are also direct). One can check train connections at http://fahrplan.sbb.ch/bin/query.exe/en
Trains are recommended as they are faster and cheaper than taxi. The conference venue and the suggested hotels are within short walking distance from the train station. Use the train station exit close to track 12 (elevator or stairs) and just walk less than 5 minutes in the direction of the stairs to reach the conference venue at our main university building (FHNW) in Olten.

The Institute of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ISEP/P.PORTO) is located in the city of Porto, Portugal. ISEP is one of the biggest and most known engineering schools of Portugal, with more than 6000 students and 500 faculty members. One of the top schools of technology in Portugal, ISEP has been pioneering education and research in Engineering since 1852. The School is also a trademark of Porto. This modern European city, known for its beauty, booming cultural agenda and strong traditional roots, is the Portuguese academic capital. Porto is also known for the friendly and cosmopolitan environment, which helps explain the large attraction of international students. Along with renowned institutions, such as MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), ISEP is a member of the international consortium CDIO (Conceive - Design - Implement - Operate) and has more than a hundred partnerships within the European Space of Higher Education.
